Job DescriptionAs a
Site and Design
Surveillance Engineer within Egis' Rail Division, your impact will be in the site surveillance of the Contractor and Building for the project facilities and assisting the IC lead in delivering the responsibilities of the IC. You will be required to be on site in Ormeau to ensure the successful delivery of works in compliance to project deed, specifications, and designs. This role will be based out of Brisbane where office attendance is also crucial to attend design workshops, review documentation and meet with IC leads and other relevant stakeholders.
In this role, you will:- Site Surveillance at specified project site as directed by IC lead
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining project controls for site surveillance
- Review and assess compliance of Project Deed and associated contractual schedules
- Inspection, review, and reporting of compliance of Project Deliverables to the confirmed Design Packages
- Auditing of Verification and Validation (V&V) processes and V&V evidence on site
- Assist lead with reviews, project reporting and comment compilation
QualificationsIdeally, you will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role working as a site or civil engineering with
Site and design experience. In addition to this, you will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Strong understanding of civil / structural engineering principles
- Full driving license
- Prior experience within rail industry within Queensland highly desired
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and execute site surveillance project plans for a portfolio of projects/work packages
- Strong computer package literacy, confident with the use of MS Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to provide clear and relevant interpretation of results
- Construction White Card
- Meet requirements for rail industry site work (Rail Industry Workers Card, OH&S card etc)
- Safely Access Rail Corridor (SARC), Working in Electrified Territory (WET), Fatigue Management highly desired
