Future Medical Imaging Group (FMIG) is a network of six radiology clinics based predominantly in the North-West of Melbourne. We are known for our specialised medical imaging services, as well as our dedication to providing a professional and personalised medical service in a friendly and caring environment.
We are a part of the Capitol Health community, which is a national network of community-based medical imaging clinics including the brands: Capital Radiology, Direct Radiology, Fowler Simmons Radiology, Imaging Olympic Park, Radiology Tasmania, and Women's Imaging. About the Role
An exciting opportunity is currently available for a Site Chief based at FMIG Sunshine for a 12 month contract (parental leave).
We are open to both Radiographers and Sonographers for this position.
This busy and varied role will see you responsible for:
- Providing leadership to the staff group of the practice and ensure all resources and systems are in place to enable the provision of premium quality Imaging services and patient care
- Contributing to the promotion of the practice
- Proactively liaising with all relevant providers regarding facility and service matters
- Maintaining licensing and accreditation relevant to the practice and contributing to the clinical workload of the practice
- Managing and leading clinical and administrative teams, whilst developing them by working collaboratively to deal with operational issues as they arise
- Delivering a commercially sustainable clinic model around appropriate financial control and the development of revenue growth opportunities from referrers
- Participating in training programs as directed by the company and maintain an on-the-job training climate for continuous improvement within the practice
- Developing and maintaining quality management programs to improve radiology services and maintain imaging protocols and equipment at the site
You Will Have
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Tertiary qualifications in Radiography and/or Ultrasound
- Knowledge of and adherence to regulation and statutory guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and lead a clinical team in a high-performing setting
- Decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service ethic
- A collaborative team based approach
- A professional and proactive relationship with attending Radiologists, referrers and support staff
- A high level of patient confidentiality and professional conduct
- Values driven attitude
- Experience in budget planning and implementation is desirable
