McNally are currently seeking a Site Engineer (site based – 2&1 roster) to join the team for a refurbishment project in the Pilbara.
We are looking for a highly driven individual that can adapt to a changing environment and can excel in a fast-paced work atmosphere.
Responsibilities will include;
- Tracking and reporting of project progress and performance.
- Liaising with trades and completing inspections to ensure all works are completed to project specification and design.
- Completing pre-construction inspections with the client representative to determine extent of scope.
- Provide technical support to the project team members.
- Maintain compliance with the head contract and McNally’s policies, procedures, and systems.
- Work closely with the site stores team & Perth based procurement team to ensure logistic efficiency are implemented and maintained.
- Keep a detailed register of material quantities on site and future procurement requirements.
- Setup & maintenance of the framework for the site QA requirements (ITP’s, checksheets, MDR and IOM)
- Assisting the Project Manager & Site Manager in delivering the works
Skills and experience will include;
- 5+ years in a similar role within the remote area or commercial construction space is essential
- A degree/trade is preferable but not essential
- Previous demonstrated experience working in a similar position, preferably within a contractor background
