The South West Gateway Alliance (SWGA), comprising of Main Roads, Acciona, NRW Contracting, MACA Civil, AECOM and Aurecon, is delivering the $1.25 billion Bunbury Outer Ring Road project. SWGA will design and construct 27 kilometres of rural highway and local government roads from Forrest Highway near Australind to Bussell Highway, South of Bunbury. The project is forecast for completion in 2024.
As we work towards this completion, we are looking for Site and Project Engineers to assist in close out activities on a short term / contract basis.

What we are looking for:
Reporting to our Senior Engineer, these positions will require you to:
- Work with and manage a broad range of local subcontractors including local suppliers.
- Interface with our discipline leads including the roads, bridges, and services teams.
- Support and provide technical assistance to our supervisors.
- Oversee and manage procurement, plant, equipment, and resources.
- Conduct short- and medium-term planning.
- Ensure overall quality management including all necessary documentation.
- Work collaboratively with our internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and local community groups to achieve a best for project and best for community outcome.

What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in an Engineering role ideally within the construction and/or resource sector backed by a formal engineering qualification.
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal customers and external suppliers.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve.
- Proven communicator who can lead, train and influence positive those around them.
