Job description:
THE ROLE
We have opportunities for Site Engineers with Civil / Rail / Mechanical or Electrical experience to join our Rail Maintenance team on projects across South Australia and Victoria. Permanent full-time position, office located in Salisbury North SA.
The Rail Maintenance team are responsible for minor projects and maintenance works, from upgrading track and bridge renewals to installing concrete walls and modernizing train stations, platforms and station buildings.
You will work on projects with various scopes, this will ensure you become a highly qualified, multi-disciplined engineer - helping you to secure strong career progression.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with time, budget and quality requirements
- Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress
- Work collaboratively to ensure compliance safety policies and procedures
- Investigate and support general engineering technical issues whilst identifying project risks and opportunities
- Develop strategic alliances with suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintain effective relationships to manage client expectations
Profile description:
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum degree qualification in Engineering
- Demonstrated construction delivery experience on public infrastructure/rail projects
- Problem solving ability for best project outcomes
- Understanding of scope & design requirements
- Well-developed verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer focus ensuring profitable repeat business
