Site Engineer / Project Engineer - Civil & Demo - Projects To $80M+

Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as civil, demolition, remedial, rehabilitation, excavation, crushing, recycling etc. Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Site EngineerandProject Engineerto join their growing business.
  
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects.
  
Types of projects include bulk earthworks, drainage, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5 to $25m but can go up to $80m+.
  
The project works will primarily be of a civil and / or demolition nature.

Years of experience:
Site Engineer 3 to 5 years +
Project Engineer 5 to 10yrs +

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working on tenders
• Planning and scheduling of construction activities
• Management of site project teams
• Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
• Preparation of management reports
• Resolving site issues in a timely manner
• Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
• Coordinating internal and external resources
• Business development
• Recruitment and mentoring of teams

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
• 3 to 5+ years’ experience on civil projects, ideally will have bulk earthworks experience
• Project management qualifications will be advantageous
• Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
• Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
• Effective problem solving abilities
• Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
• High level of organisation and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
