Overview:
RGL Construction are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the operations of one of our sites based in Cumbira. You will be working alongside the construction manager to ensure that the site is running smoothly and that all trades are on site and are completing works within the deadlines. This is a full-time position based on our site in Cumbria.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of site operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution of projects
- Sending directors weekly site updates
- Dealing with any issues on sites efficiently
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop project plans and specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and change orders
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any inquiries or concerns
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficient in using project management software and tools
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
