Site Medic

We are seeking a Registered Nurse or Paramedic to provide primary and emergency healthcare and occupational health management. This is a fixed-term role, commencing after credentialing and onboarding until December 2024.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• providing initial emergency response
• ensuring medications, including restricted drugs, are managed and checked
• treating and rehabilitating personnel with occupational injuries and/or medical conditions or problems
• providing primary health care to site personnel
• responding to call outs on site, including ‘after hours’ calls
• coordinating and delivering training with assistance from Aspen Medical RTO to include (but not limited to) Provide First Aid, Low Voltage Rescue, CPR, Advanced Resuscitation and Heat Stress
• coordinating and delivery of on-site Drug and Alcohol testing

What we are looking for:

Essential

• Qualification as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic (or equivalent)
• Current unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Up-to-date ALS certificate

Highly Desirable

• Completion of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
