Aspen Medical is contracted to provide onSite Medical services and personnel on behalf of our Oil and Gas customer, Santos. We currently have opportunities across Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory. Located in rural, offshore and sometimes very remote locations, we look for skilled and experienced Registered Nurses/Paramedics who can provide primary healthcare, participate in emergency planning and evacuation, manage occupational injuries and illnesses, and deliver health and wellness education programs.
What we are looking for:
• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum of two (2) years working experience providing onSite Medical support and emergency response in a remote location
• Current Advanced Life Support certification
• Current Drug and Alcohol testing qualification (or be willing to obtain)
• Trauma management qualification such as Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent
• RIIVEH305F or PMASUP236 4WD training (highly desirable)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) (highly desirable)
Highly Desirable:
• Current BOSIET/HUET and MSIC desirable
• Certified and confident Drug and Alcohol tester
• Previous experience in working in the Oil & Gas sector, preferably in an offshore environment.
• Current Certificate IV: BSB41419 Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
