Site Operations Manager

Site Operations Manager required for Defence contractor located in Wagga Wagga, NSW

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a hospitality background to be responsible for Site operations at Kapooka Blamey Barracks (Wagga Wagga, NSW).  

You will be responsible for the following:
•    Managing staff and Site Operations 
•    Cost control and financial reporting 
•    Driving the Safety Culture at site; initiating and implementing project ideas to drive commitment to safety 
•    Ensuring Food Safety standards are met and adhered to 
•    Liaising with unit management and support services 
•    Establishing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships 
•    Function planning and management   

We are looking for someone who has the following attributes:

• Background with experience of managing operations within a hospitality environment
• Financial Management and reporting experience & skills
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• Conflict management skills & experience
• Problem-solving skills
• Able to establish and maintain a WHS environment for the site
• Able to motivate a team to succeed and achieve KPI's 
• Knowledge of quality management and compliance systems & procedures
• Good work ethic and attention to detail
• Computer-literate with the ability to learn new systems
• Must be able to complete a National Police Check which will be paid for.
