Site / Project Engineer

Our client a leading infrastructure and construction company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join their team.

The Site Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Project Engineer and staff by managing tasks closely with internal and external project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects within time and budget constraints. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordination of site activities and provision of technical support to construction teams
• Management of project deliverables through coordination with design, land access and construction teams
• Issuance and tracking of material requisitions
• Programme management, including review and maintenance
• Analysing and tracking contractor performance
• Initiating design changes as necessary
• Reviewing and updating project progress on a weekly basis
• Monthly processing of contractor claims

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience and 5+ years in the infrastructure or construction industry
• Good understanding of telecommunications pit and pipe and aerial optic fiber network infrastructure
• Proven experience in managing key stakeholders, including workforce and sub-contractors
• Proven track record in project reporting
• Experience is important of long haul fibre or Telstra IEN
