AddressMine Site Construction Services Pty Ltd is a Western Australian, privately owned civil and mining construction company with over 40 years of combined industry experience; specializing in mining services, civil engineering, earthmoving, infrastructure and quarrying services.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mining Supervisor to join our team and oversee our mining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining engineering, extensive experience in mine operations, and exceptional leadership skills.
Roster: 5/2 - days only
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of mining operations including planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise mining processes, improve productivity, and minimize costs.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of mining professionals including engineers, supervisors, and operators.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with other departments such as geology, maintenance, and logistics to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
- Prepare and present reports on production, costs, and performance to management.
Qualifications:
- S26 and/or unrestricted QM ticket preferred (QM Ticket bonus payable)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mining operations with progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of mining methods, equipment, and technologies.
- Proven leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
