About the role
As one of Australia’s leading Iron Ore producers, a fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Site Services Superintendent to join our Onslow Iron Project! This role based in our Osborne Park office with regular visits to site.
Reporting to the Operations Village Manager, the Superintendent Site Services will oversee all on-site operations, ensuring compliance with MinRes vision, contracts, and legislation. Lead and supervise site leaders and staff for consistent service delivery excellence. Join us in shaping success at our site.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive support to Camp Managers and Site Services staff, communicating operational changes effectively
Coordinate staffing levels for optimal ratios to meet customer needs
Develop and deliver training for Camp Managers, ensuring compliance with industry practices
Manage financials, overseeing costs and income aligned with the Profit & Loss statement to manage budget
Prioritise safety, taking corrective actions for a safe work environment
Ensure compliance with industry legislation and regulations for Camp Accommodation and Services
Manage camp licenses, including Lodging, Liquor, Tobacco, Food business regulations, and HACCP
Responsible for the empowerment and development of employees and their work in support of MRL
Planning and monitoring staff KPI’s, providing regular feedback to managers on their operations
Supporting camp managers and staff in conjunction with Human Resources to appropriately respond to employee relations issues appropriately.
What you’ll bring to the team
Previous experience as an Area Manager/Regional Manager.
Previous experience in Facilities Management or Village Management
Highly desirable: Diploma of Hospitality Management.
Proficient in private aerodrome management.
Desirable: Food Safety Supervisors Course.
