Our BUILD Team completes custom architecturally designed new homes and renovations whilst our MAINTENANCE team is working across Brisbane showing off their skills in private maintenance as well as in insurance, aged care, NDIS and real estate industry projects.
Position:
We are now seeking a SITE SUPERVISOR to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and supervising teams at multiple build projects. This role is based onsite. Your role will be to oversee the projects, help the team reach stages of work and to motivate the team to hit their goals, so working in a carpentry role may be required.
- Communicating effectively and enthusiastically with the builder, construction manager, leading hands, subcontractors and employees.
- Ensuring teams work together positively to deliver an impeccable standard of work.
- Managing material requirements, equipment procurement and sub-trades onsite.
- Understanding and following a scope of works and schedule for each project whilst ensuring deadlines related to these are met.
- Managing sites for OH&S and holding regular toolbox meetings.
- Liaising with clients and being involved in regular meetings.
- Providing support to the construction manager on job progression.
- Supporting the leads process.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have:
- Carpentry Trade qualification with experience particularly in renovations for a minimum 10 years.
- Minimum of 2 years supervising/leading hand experience - site supervisor licence preferable.
- Excellent communication skills to work daily with subcontractors and KARDA Team Members.
- Impeccable attention to detail and craftsmanship to ensure and expect quality.
- Highly proficient ability in using an iPad/Apps/Computer particularly Job Management Systems.
- Ability to lead by example - be motivated and inspire others in the team in alignment with KARDA's core values.
- Ability to work successfully as a team leader ensuring high standards, compliance, accountability, productivity and safety.
- Ability to meet deadlines in schedules and multitask.
- Superior organisation, problem solving and team management skills.

Remuneration (eg. fuel, car, salary etc) will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
