Site Supervisor - Residential

We are currently looking for a Site Supervisor for a residential housing and terrace construction in Caloundra. 

Vantage Building Group is a highly regarded high volume residential builder with a substantial local presence and reputation. Your prior experience in a similar role would be well utilised.

The Opportunity

Supported by an experienced Construction Manager, you will be involved with all aspects of the supervision of our projects from plaster stage, delivering all new homes to display home standards.  Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring customers enjoy a positive experience while delivering projects on time and on budget.

You will need to maintain successful relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and internal/external customers as well as following through with relevant documentation

Your Responsibilities:

• Daily supervision of residential homes
• Supervising and overseeing to ensure that projects are complying with legislation and specifications including OH&S, and trade licenses
• Co-ordinate and schedule all suppliers and subcontractors
• Quality control
• Interpreting working drawings and specifications
• Work closely with head office staff and construction team
• Light site duties

You will have:

• Valid Builder's / Supervisor's license
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a residential Site Supervisor with a volume home builder
• Excellent working knowledge of residential construction
• Experience with OH&S guidelines and ability to comply with company policies
• A high level of time management skills
• Computer skills
• A valid driver's license, and ability to provide a copy of your driving record
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to create and sustain lasting relationships with trades
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels
• Australian Residency
• Own basic tools

Remuneration is negotiable based upon experience.
