Thredbo’s expert ASPA qualified Ski Patrol teamare definitely who you want in your corner in an emergency. Theseskiers and boarders patrol the slopes, coming to the aid of injuredriders and monitoring and reducing hazards. Sweeping the mountainopen to close, the level-headed and nimble Ski Patrol team have asled full of duties including marking obstacles, signage, fencing,assessing suitability of slopes, and rider education. In this roleyou are responsible for the safety and well-being of all mountainusers, provide immediate first aid to those injured on the slopesand when necessary transport the injured to the medicalcentre.

If you’re up for an exciting opportunityto:

  • Demonstrate experience in accident prevention, lift evacuation, trail work, speed control and more
  • Provide first aid to injured persons
  • Assist with on mountain safety operations
  • Handle a rescue sled (akja)
  • Communication with and be understanding of diverse groups of people
  • Take ownership and pride of your operation area and team

… with your experience and skillsin:

  • ASPA Certification, or international equivalent
  • Previous Ski Patrol experience
  • Advanced ski or snowboard skills
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
