Skin Specialist GP

Medical Dermatology Australia is a leading dermatology practice dedicated to providing exceptional services to patients across Australia, using a hybrid telehealth model where on-site GPs and Dermatology Assistants provide patients with the support and treatments they need for their dermatological conditions, supported by dermatologists via telehealth as required.   

We are seeking an exceptional GP to join our established practice and become an integral part of our team.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Consulting patients regarding their skin for conditions such as melasma, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo and acne, with the support and training of our specialist dermatologist & medical director
• Providing treatments for patients, including prescribing medications and treatments such as phototherapy or melasma and acne peels. 
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in dermatology and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical care
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Liaising via Telehealth with our specialist dermatologist for specialist-level treatments for your patients where required
• Conducting patch testing
• Performing skin checks

Our ideal candidate:

• Medical degree from a recognized institution
• Unconditional Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or equivalent qualification
• Subspecialty training or experience in dermatology an advantage but not essential
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
