Small Engine / Outdoor Power Equipment Workshop Assistant / Labourer

Dave’s Mower Repairs & Sales is a small family-owned business in Jimboomba. Due to a constant increase in demand for our services, we are looking for a Workshop Assistant/ labourer to join our team.

We are specialised Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) dealers, with a dedicated customer base and very experienced staff.  We offer an exceptional level of knowledge, expertise, and service to our many loyal customers.

Duties include but are not limited to;

• Pre-delivery of new machines
• Assisting the mechanics as required
• Stock displays
• Ensure the workshop and showroom are kept clean
• All general duties required in daily operations

You will be reporting directly to the owner and/or Shop Manager.

Qualifications & experience

• Previous experience in Small Engine and Outdoor Power Equipment is not required, but preferred (training will be provided);
• Manual driver’s license and forklift license an advantage;
• Self-motivated team player with strong work ethic;
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
• Ability to communicate with other staff and customers;
• Being able to work alone and be productive and reliable in a high-paced work environment.

This is a casual position, however, permanent part-time may be considered for the right candidate. Hours can be flexible for the right candidate and can be discussed case by case.

Pay and remuneration will be based on the award, the candidate's knowledge as well as qualifications.
