Snr Project Architect / Design Manager

Our client is a sustainability-focused D&C that specializes in luxury multi-residential developments across Sydney. With an impressive portfolio and an ambitious pipeline, the team is dedicated to creating outstanding design solutions that exceed clients' expectations.
Position Description:
We're looking for a NSW Registered Architect who's ready to step up into a Design Manager position. You'll be responsible for overseeing the projects from start to finish and play a crucial role in shaping the direction of our design department. You will oversee a talented team of designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional design projects. We are seeking a candidate with proven leadership skills, a deep understanding of design principles, and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, ensuring they deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Be able to work as part of a team and autonomously, with limited micro-management.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project objectives and deliver design solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends and technologies, and incorporate them into our projects.
• Review and approve design concepts, layouts, and final deliverables.
• Monitor and report on the performance of the design team and department.
• Manage design budgets and resources effectively.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Architecture and NSW Registered.
• Proven experience as a Project Architect, Design Manager or similar leadership role.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Project management and budgeting experience.
• Creative and innovative thinking.
