Willing and Able Foundation is a registered NDIS provider and have been supporting adults with disabilities for over 50 years. We currently have available various employment and skills development opportunities in a supported employment setting. We are dedicated to providing quality employment supports and creating exciting job opportunities and pathways whilst providing individualised skills development and training.
We are inviting NDIS funded participants to join our business teams at our Port Macquarie locations. We specifically require people with money handling experience or the capacity to learn cash register skills.
About the roles
- Opportunities to work in administration, retail, warehouse, recycling, or manufacturing positions.
- Work under the Supported Employment award, paid in line with assessment under the Supported Wage System if deemed necessary.
- Work in a positive, friendly, team environment.
- Opportunities to learn new skills and complete training in a variety of areas.
- Develop working relationships in a supportive and non-demanding environment.
- Create opportunities to transition into mainstream employment options.
What we are looking for
- Potential participants who have a desire to seek employment.
- Candidates who are interested in improving life skills and training to enhance their capacity within the workforce.
- People who are looking to gain confidence and experience while working in a supervised team environment.
What do you need to qualify?
- Have a mild to moderate disability, (intellectual or physical).
- Possess independence for daily job requirements, with training and support.
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Meet the eligibility criteria for a disability support pension.
- Have a current NDIS Plan
