Social Media And Content Creator - Health And Wellness

The Low Carb Keto Health team are committed to leading a new paradigm of health care. We are a team of Doctors, Dietitians and Health Coaches empowering others to manage disease and create wellness through a nutrition and lifestyle approach to health care. 

Since opening in early 2022 we've experienced continued organic growth in our in-person practice operations. We're now excited to be entering a new phase of business growth with the development of our online presence and specialised practice program offerings. 

We are seeking a dynamic Health and Wellness creative to join our team as a Social Media and Content Coordinator. 

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing Social Media strategies, creating engaging content, and building our online presence to enhance brand awareness and drive business growth.  

Key responsibilities include: 

Marketing Planning and Development 

Working closely with the Managing Director to:

• Plan, develop and monitor Social Media campaigns / strategies aligned to marketing goals.
• Develop of business brand guidelines, key messaging and streamlined online call to actions.
• Provide feedback on the performance of Social Media, SEO and SEM campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.

Social Media Management 

• Implement, schedule and manage comprehensive Social Media strategies across various platforms. 
• Monitor and analyse Social Media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activity.
• Regularly update and maintain Social Media profiles, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing objectives.
• Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.

Content and Resource Creation

• Develop and curate engaging and shareable content for Social Media platforms, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats.
• Collaborate with clinical team to gather content, articles, and updates to educate target audiences and showcase business initiatives.
• Assist in the development of branded documents, resources and media for practice program offerings.

Community Engagement

• Foster and grow an active and engaged online community by initiating and participating in conversations across various Social Media channels. 

About You

You'll be a perfect fit for our team if you're a Social Media savvy individual with a passion for Health and Wellness and, a keen interest in online / digital health trends. As the key content creative for the business, you must have a genuine belief in managing chronic disease and finding wellness through a nutrition and lifestyle-first approach. Personal or lived experience in a low carb or ketogenic lifestyle will be highly regarded. 

Your Quals and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in Social Media management and Content creation.

• Strong understanding of Social Media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Familiarity with Social Media analytics tools.
• Ability to work remotely and collaboratively in a start-up business environment.
