Max&You is a creatively driven & innovative Melbourne-based communications agency working across brand, digital marketing, public relations, film and shoot production, and graphics & animation for a premium client base. We specialise in the high-end luxury design, interiors, architecture, and property markets.

Due to business growth, we currently have available an exciting new role within the team as Social Media and Community Manager. Bring your creativity and strategic mindset to play a pivotal role in bringing our clients' brands to life every day.

Reporting to the Content Strategist, you will be primarily responsible for managing the website and Social Media channels of our key clients. You will also drive and deliver on paid campaign setup, precise targeting, budget allocation, content posting, community moderation, and comprehensive reporting.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Social Activity/Campaign Set-Up

  • Handle all in-platform tasks (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest etc) across multiple clients
  • Collaborate on post ideas and production with creative and strategy teams
  • Work with the Content Strategist to build and manage content calendar and strategy
  • Ideate, source news and produce daily content
  • Oversee and ensure the development of great content, both written and visual (and video where applicable), from conceptualisation to hitting publish
  • Manage content schedules and calendars for our agency brands
  • Produce engaging short-form posts, long-form features and social captions
  • Actively participate in Social Media, creating business/product marketing content relevant to the target audience

Monthly Paid Social Media Planning

  • Set up and monitor paid Social Media campaigns for varying client goals
  • Allocate budgets to posts for optimal results and key KPI achievement
  • Prioritise higher budgets for high-performing, high-production-value posts
  • Buy, manage, and optimise paid media across all social platforms

Community Management

  • Adhere to the content calendar, regularly publishing and fostering active social communities
  • Swiftly review and respond to user feedback and queries
  • Authentically engage, connecting users with customer service and offering positive feedback
  • Enforce Social Media Guidelines for our clients and agency
  • Escalate user-generated content to internal and client stakeholders as needed
  • Adhere to best practices and monitoring all of the agency client channels

Social Media Reporting

  • Analyse social platforms for targeting, media allocation, and content optimisation
  • Summarise insights into actionable client reports
  • Generate performance reports, conduct competitor reviews, and suggest improvements
  • Actively participate in key client meetings to share insights into their content performance

Client and agency interfacing

  • Serve as an in-house social expert, keeping the agency and clients informed on new formats, functions, and trends
  • Be part of the communication with clients to update them on their Social Media presence through various channels, including email and regular meetings

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience working in an agency environment
  • Experience in community management on Social Media platforms
  • Knowledge or experience in architecture and design is highly favoured
  • Actively engaged with a solid understanding of popular social networks
  • Capable of crafting clear community management guidelines addressing Social Media roles and risks
  • Exceptional attention to detail and grammar across all comms
  • Knack for precise content timing and targeting
  • Strong analytical skills for deriving insights from data
  • Effective communication and on-brand writing skills within the agency team
  • Knowledge of digital publishing systems and Social Media
