About the Role
Come and join our vibrant ABC News Social Media team, where you'll create engaging content for ABC platforms, oversee and facilitate audience conversations and moderate our key Social Media accounts.
You'll also contribute ideas to improve the ways the ABC presents news content in social spaces and ABC platforms, including ideas for new content formats.
About You
You're passionate about Social Media, with strong digital skills and a track record in creative digital news production. You get what it means to be an audience-focussed brand custodian and have a thorough understanding of user behaviours on social platforms and the influence they have on how news is presented and distributed via those platforms.
You'll also bring:

• Accomplished editorial judgement, producing accurate and concise copy and first-class knowledge of Social Media platforms.
• Well-developed knowledge and understanding of user behaviours on social platforms and the influence they have on how content is presented and distributed.
• Demonstrated accomplished experience in digital content production.

We are looking for people who can also bring a perspective of culturally diverse communities and contribute to stories and conversations that reflect the broader Australian diversity landscape.
