Are you passionate about your community? About the role We are seeking a dedicated Social Mission Chaplain!

You will provide expertise focusing on the pastoral needs of others. Additionally, you will work with staff to support holistic client care and religious services. Responsibilities include Provide pastoral care, encouraging people to explore their spirituality and move forward in their personal faith journey Establish productive links with other faith expressions to support people transitioning into other faith communities external to the service Chaplains assist staff and management or other stakeholders to understand

The Salvation Army theology Conducts faith-based ceremonies and religious practices Facilitate faith-based activities, where appropriate, in accordance to the Spirituality Framework of the service This is a permanent full-time position, based in Ulverstone, TAS. What you will have Diploma of Chaplaincy (mandatory) Training in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) (desirable or working towards) Relevant qualifications in theological studies (desirable or working towards) Positive Lifestyle Program (PLP) Facilitator training (desirable or working towards) Demonstrate understanding of theoretical knowledge and theological underpinning for ministry Meets yearly credential requirements of the Territorial Chaplaincy Support Unit (TCSU) to be registered as a TSA Chaplain Mandatory participation in: Regular professional supervision, Area Leadership Teams (where requested), Monthly spiritual retreat day Valid and current Driver's Licence Vaccination Status (if required) Benefits working at
