We’re Queensland’s largest multi-sport facility and have Athletics, Aquatic, Tennis and Fitness Centres, as well as grass and synthetic playing fields, indoor and outdoor multi-sport courts, function spaces and retail outlets. Our membership base spans over 4,000 customers, with a further 7,000 people actively involved across UQ’s 35+ sporting clubs.

Our staff are proud to work at UQ Sport, and it shows in the exceptional work we do. Our not-for-profit organisation delivers almost 400 diverse programs to UQ students, staff and alumni, as well as the general public, across the University’s St Lucia and Gatton campuses.  

We're looking for passionate Outdoor Soccer, Outdoor Netball, Beach Volleyball and Outdoor Basketball Referees/Umpires available on weekends and evenings to join the UQ Sport team! 

Ideally you will have a recognised officiating badge. 

• Outdoor Soccer Referees needed Saturday and Sunday from 1pm - Experience required
• Outdoor Netball Umpires needed Monday/Tuesday from 6pm and Sunday 3-9pm - Badged and unbadged.
• Beach Volleyball Referees and Convenors* needed Friday from 6pm
• Outdoor Basketball Referees needed Tuesday/Wednesday from 6pm

*Convenors require first aid and cpr qualifications - hourly rate ranges depending on weekday/weekend work from $35.10 - $36.51/hour + Super.

It is aREQUIREMENT FOR THIS ROLEthat you are available for: 

• Group Interviews between 12th February and 16th February
• UQ Sport Inductions either 26th February or 11th March
• Staff Training Day either 4th March or 10th March
• Shifts starting on 11th March
