Grade 4Social Work Manager 0.8 EFT (Kingston Centre)

GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN THE SOCIAL WORK DEPARTMENT AT MONASH HEALTH.

We are now looking to appoint a permanent part time 0.8 EFT Grade 4Social Work Manager at the Kingston Centre.

  • You will have clinical expertise, consolidated skills and professional knowledge, particularly in the areas of social complexities that exist within the subacute space.
  • You will strive to continually improve team performance through leading educational and research initiatives, evaluating, auditing and monitoring data (qualitative and quantitative) and designing improvements in quality and safety.
  • You will have proven leadership skills and operational management skills within an hospital setting.

What you Bring:

Ability to support the Social Work and Allied Health leadership teams with a focus on the subacute sector in public health and in the ongoing development of evidence based clinical practice standards, education and training and quality improvement to ensure there is a focus on a relentless pursuit of excellence in everything we do.

What you Need:

To be considered for this important role you will ideally possess the following:

  • Bachelor of Social Work or Masters Social Work Qualifying OR Master of Social Work, OR equivalent as assessed and approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Eligible for ordinary membership of AASW (http://www.aasw.asn.au/)
  • Minimum of seven years’ experience as a qualified Social Worker.
  • Accredited Social Worker: as approved by the AASW
  • A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
