Soe And Cloud Engineer

• 5 + 12 + 12 month contract - Flexible work arrangement (3 days onsite p.w.)

• Design, development, and implementation of Windows 11 across the desktop fleet

Our client, a small sports-focussed agency in Bruce, ACT, requires a SOE and Cloud Engineer for a 5 + 12 + 12 month contract.

The position is primarily a technical hands-on role, with responsibility to architect an integrated Windows 11 SOE deployment strategy, design solutions, build and implement the SOE.

Duties

• Optimise support operations (including scripting, build automation, application packaging), and share knowledge to assist in the development of onsite support capability.
• This role requires the candidate to possess advanced practical experience in the following disciplines; technical hands-on engineering, systems and Cloud integration, application packaging, documentation, and knowledge and skills development.
• Contribute to the design of other related solutions, as well as review project design documentation and provide advice on integration across the ICT landscape.

Selection Criteria

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Windows family of End User Computing Operating Systems and applications (greater than 5 years).
• Experience applying Windows 11 SOE security best practises in compliance with the Information Security Manual (ISM).
• Experience integrating systems and SaaS services for a modern Windows platform, and LAN (network) connectivity troubleshooting (DHCP, IP etc).
• Expert knowledge of enterprise SCCM deployment and management tools (imaging, app deployment, reporting) & Intune/Endpoint Deployment
• Excellent documentation skills, for user training and technical documents.
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. MCP, MCSA, MCSE) highly desirable.
• Experience working with MacOS Operating Systems and Office for Mac is highly desirable.
