Duties- Undertake analysis, design, development and maintenance of complex software in support of the TIGER application and other business systems.
- Liaise and consult with Lead Software Developer, Contract Developer and stakeholders in the design and modelling of business solutions.
- Produce system documentation that supports developed software changes, including reports and user manuals, that stakeholders can understand and use.
- Research information system technology and develop information system policy and strategies in effective data management of the TIGER system that is in line with departmental guidelines.
- Liaise with the Information, Communication & Technology & Spatial Services Branch with the management of infrastructure required to support TIGER deliverables to both internal and external clients.
- Assist with provision of technical advice to management and clients.
- Assist end users with day to day textual and spatial data management.
A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
