AddressHealthcare Software (HCS) is a leading Australian technology business, building solutions for the rapidly expanding and challenging e-health sector. The Role
HCS are seeking a Software Engineer in partnership with one of our primary customers, St Luke's, Tasmania’s premier Private Health Insurer. St Luke’s mission is to make Tasmania the healthiest island on the planet by providing next level customer care and focusing on long term solutions. The software engineer will work closely with the Business Technology Solutions team at St Lukes to develop and deliver software as required to make this mission a reality. Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Delivering features, fixing bugs, and developing enhancements as per St Lukes’ needs.
- Contributing to delivering features to the development/test/production environments as required.
- Collaborating with colleagues and reviewing their contributions to St Lukes’ systems.
- Robust documentation to ensure complete knowledge transfer.
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in delivering software projects, independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to investigate and use new technologies where relevant.
- Demonstrated experience performing in autonomous role.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills .
- Demonstrated experience with core related technologies (as per Position Description).
- Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications.
Experience or certification in developing for MS Dynamics and the Power Platform is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a take-home technical test. Applicants should be willing to either complete this test or demonstrate equivalent technical skill/experience through previous projects or contributions.
