We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join the Nura Space team! The role will drive value for the Nura Space business through the analysis, creation and improvement of business processes, recommending and developing solutions leveraging I.T assets and knowledge to enable Nura Space to service our clients technological needs in an effective way.
Reporting to the Head to Technology, you will be responsible for:
● Provide input to the mapping of our digital products, ensure that back logs, iterations (scrums), verifications (testing) and releases (deployment and training) are completed in agreement with product scopes and timelines;
● Develop and prepare continuous improvement and continuous delivery strategies across system design and software development.
● Provide estimates on effort required to complete development sprints to allow for “scrums” to be managed successfully;
● Use and provide improvement to dev-op frameworks, technologies and skills.
● testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications including technical security controls perform to specification
To be successful in this role you will have:
● Experience in Asp.Net 4.5+, Programming language C#, F# and Java, MVC 4+, UI skill with JQuery, Angular.JS, REST web service/ Web API, HTML 5 / AJAX / CSS / PHP, MS SQL Server 2005+, unit testing, web and mobile development
● At least 2 Years of relevant IT software work experience in a multitude of business environments.
● Sound understanding of corporate governance and cyber risk management
● Exposure to agile methodologies, Scrum, XP, lean and Kanban
● An understanding of systems architecture, business technology and applications.
● Strong attention to detail /ability to work both within a team/ and independently in a complex environment
