YOUR NEW ROLE
As the valued right hand to an industry-leading specialist partner & top-notch senior associate, supported by a paralegal, you will love resolving a full spectrum of intellectuallystimulating +interesting disputes (Superior level & Land & Environment Courts) relating to:
- all aspects of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and related legislation;
- development applications (Das), complying Das and exempt development.
- applications to amend LEPs and planning proposals;
- voluntary planning agreements and developer contributions.
- easements and access to land ;
- land contamination, pollution, remediation and voluntary management proposals.
- directors’ duties and liabilities under planning and environment regulations.
- critical habitat and the operation of threatened species conservation legislation.
- site and environmental audits, due diligence and environmental impact assessment.
- regulatory compliance and enforcement.
- Land and Environment Court Applications and Appeals.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
- are admitted as a solicitor in NSW OR a law graduate (due to be admitted soon);
- have minimum 12 months or more hands-on environmental/planning/local government law litigation experience (essential) preferably acting for applicants (ie developers/private entities);
- have strong communication, research, negotiation, advocacy and client management skills;
- are practical, adaptable, commercial, dead-line driven and results-oriented;
