Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team!
Software Engineer role involves developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting applications and systems that support the business needs of the customer. This includes analysis, design, build, test, and documenting solutions according to approved current standards and best practice methodology.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Performing system analysis to design test automation frameworks and its integration with various CI/CD, test management, and defect management tools.
- Develop and test software solutions that meet user requirements according to approved IT standards and best practice methodology.
- Build full stack test automation frameworks including APIs, databases and user interfaces.
- Support end-to-end delivery ensuring all components are implemented as per specifications.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of Cuscal’s applications, systems, and processes to ensure effective knowledge transfer and facilitate support and development.
- Actively collaborate in the team environment and work closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
To be successful in this position you will need to have skills and experience in the following:
- Java/NodeJS, React/Angular, HTML/CSS
- Test driven development (TDD) or behaviour driven development (BDD)
- Container technologies such as Docker / Kubernetes
- DevOps Tooling for building CI/CD pipelines such as Bamboo, GitHub
- Cloud Technologies such as Terraform for IaC and AWS Services (EC2, Lambda, S3 etc.)
- Micro-services development and design (RESTful)
Although not required any experience or certifications in the following would be highly desirable:
- Experience with Consumer Data Standards (Open Banking)
- Payments background
