Form of workAs a Software Development Manager for Strata Town, you will lead a group of developers by providing technical direction and driving innovation within the company as we build out a brand new platform that is gaining traction and disrupting the Strata industry. This is a permanent role, and we are seeking someone to be based in our Jolimont office full time. What will you be doing?
Leading a team of Developers to support the successful delivery of projects / products / platforms across the business. Significant contributions towards growing and motiving our development capability. Participate with the development team to define and document standards and practices to ensure consistency and quality across the development team.
Stay up to date with current technology trends and innovations, identifying and advocating potential use cases for adoption. Influencing and establishing best development practices through solid design decisions, processes and tools. Developing and maintaining strong, effective working relationships with key stakeholders, key suppliers, service providers and understanding stakeholder needs.
Developing annual roadmaps that align to planning activities for budgeting and forecasting requirements. Contributing to the development of business cases seeking to garner funding for projects and initiatives. Presenting ideas and initiatives to senior manager and the executive.
What are we looking for in you? Certification in designing, building and supporting solutions in AWS is desirable
Significant development experience including architecture, development and testing.Extensive knowledge of multiple technologies Significant experience building cohesive and high performing teams with a passion for developing people
Strong ability to influence at all levels of the business
Proven history of delivering complex, high-quality solutions
Demonstrated experience in establishing, running and participating in agile delivery and DevOps practices.Demonstrated experience managing software delivery projects and initiatives
