Software Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality AI Applications across many industry verticals. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code that meets the needs of the business nd our clients. 

Candidates MUST be located in Melbourne and any out of area applications will not be reviewed.

As a developer, you will work in a team:

• Collaborating with other Software Engineers in Silicon Valley & New York working on our core AI software platform.
• Designing and implementing the frontend and backend functionalities and ensuring they meet the business logic and client requirements.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining the web applications using different tools as per the requirements.
• Designing, creating and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for the AI application.
• Developing, maintaining and testing API interfaces.
• Monitoring daily processing and triage issues as documented.
• Monitoring AI processing trends over time and developing system improvements to manage trends.
• Interpreting, implementing and testing of complex AI Machine Learning algorithms.
• Design, document, develop and execute test automated plans for business requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience with JS/TypeScript, HTML, CSS and ASP.Net frameworks
• Deep understanding of Node.js / React.js 
• Backend experience with C# or Python, and SQL database
• Experience with JSON, Postman, Github, AWS cloud services including EC2 instances and S3 buckets
• Frontend experience with Bootstrap is a plus
• Experience with XML and using Regular Expressions is a plus
• Experience with OCR software is a plus (ABBYY OCR FineReader, FineReader Server, Vantage; Kofax OmniPage Server)
• A Degree in Computer Science (or similar) would be a plus
• Have had upto 2 years direct experience in a number of the above requirements
