Software Engineer

Software developer who will be a founding member of a new team trading mid-frequency statistical arbitrage strategies. The candidate should have a passion to work in a start-up environment and take ownership of projects and contribute to design. The candidate will be working on greenfield projects, which are critical to the success of the new team. 

• Collaborate with the research team to build the trading system and research infrastructure
• Manage the software delivery lifecycle
• Build connectivity to internal data and execution platforms
• Develop data pipelines, research, and post-trading analytics tools

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems
• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
• Fluency in Python 3 and familiarity with pandas
• Familiarity with version control and software delivery lifecycle
• Familiarity with deployment and process control (Docker, K8s, Jenkins, Airflow)
• Familiarity in SQL and Timeseries Databasing (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB)
• Familiarity with asynchronous messaging (ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Proficiency with the Linux environment, with some sys-admin experience
• Real project experience in deploying Time Series or Machine Learning systems (e.g. Tensorflow, MLFlow) is a plus
• Detail oriented and curious about the latest trends in technology
• Masters in Data Science/Statistics or experience with Time Series or Statistics a plus
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards
