The Role
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team, which has recently inaugurated a new office in Morwell. This expansion marks a significant milestone as we aim to develop bespoke software solutions for our existing business units. Additionally, we are commercializing these solutions to establish an independent software house, which is set to appeal to participants in the rapidly growing National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) sector.

Your existing practical experience in the NDIS sector (or the healthcare sector) will be very welcome.
Location - Morwell Vic, with initial familiarisation and training effort will take place in their Templestowe (Eastern Melbourne) location.
Your role will provide systems analysis, design, development, maintenance & ongoing support for their proprietary applications and solutions. You will be an active contributor to the software implementations, development lifecycle and be familiar with Integration and production deployment processes. The role is full time and ongoing.
Reporting to the CEO, your Key Responsibilities will include
• Contribute to the system design, including the production of system and program documentation.
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and
commercialization of our case management software solutions within our market niche.
- Diagnose and document problems within the system or sub-system, apply known
solutions, check processes, and escalate when necessary. Proactively contribute to supporting documentation and provide advice for applications.
- Undertake complex testing activities to ensure software solutions meet agreed
specifications.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and interact with external application software
development teams Support the application software by analysing and fixing problems as required
- Perform unit and integration testing on developed code
- Provide technical advice to the business customers on business opportunities
- Identify technical improvements that will benefit the business and clients
- Provide input to or develop business systems solutions, estimates and
specifications
- Develop a strong knowledge of the NDIS to navigate systemic processes and
requirements

To be considered for interview we expect to see
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related
field.
- Minimum 2-3 years (preferably much more) of Software Engineering and team
leading experience
- Proven experience in project management, and software development in the
context of commercializing software solutions.
- Expertise in ASP.Net with MVC, ADO.NET, C#, and 3 Tier application
architecture.
- Proficiency in MVC Razor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Kendo
Controls, and Spring Dependency Injection.
- Strong knowledge of MSSQL databases, unit testing frameworks, SQL queries,
.Net interop forms, . Net/IIS web application, and Azure hosting server.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and
challenging environment.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the disability services or
healthcare sector.
- Ability to think strategically and contribute to business development
initiatives.
