AddressAs our team is currently growing, we are on the lookout for a Front End Developer to join our team. The Software Engineer is expected to play a major role in ensuring that the technical procedures, tools and ultimately the code produced is of a high calibre and fit for purpose. This role is required to assist in the growing needs of the online market, as well as to assist with the growing number of projects in APAC region.
Role And Responsibilities
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Participating in the overall application lifecycle
- Cross collaborate with other Engineers, Designers and Product Managers within the technology teams
- Building high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future
- Implement frontend components to specification using HTML, CSS, Javascript and React.
- Review application requirements and interface designs.
- Design, implement, and test user interface components using React.
- Write application interface codes using TypeScript following React workflows.
- Develop and deploy code in AWS Cloud environment using EC2 and serverless Lambda
About You
As a successful candidate you will be expected to be highly knowledgeable and experienced in; as well as to adapt to new technologies, tools and languages:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with one or more modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in React and familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience in responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Understanding of concurrent version systems GIT and Subversion
- Web services client and server sides in REST.
- Experience in building large-scale software applications, and interactive websites and resolving performance and security issues for web-based solutions.
