About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer - SAP BW to join our friendly and supportive team in Parramatta on permanent full-time basis.
Location: Parramatta, NSW
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000
Role: Full-time
Key responsibilities include:
· Work directly with the client gathering requirements to align technology with business strategy and goals
· Perform top down and bottom-up impact analysis, including estimation, based on business requirements for the SAP (including Workflows, Data Model, Rules, coding)
· Providing estimation for cost and resources required for the development of software solution
· Prepare technical design documents based on the requirement which include High Level Design, Low Level Design Document, and imparting technical and business knowledge to the team
· Conduct feasibility study, evaluate system limitations, and provide technical solutions accordingly
· Perform key role in end-to-end SAP implementation programs across all modules
· Collaborate and liaise with distributed delivery teams
· Prepare and interpret technical specifications and convert them into high functioning code in the appropriate language
· Write and modify code as per the coding standards and best practices and execute in test and production environments
· Conduct software compatibility testing and deploy software/functional solution as well as conduct required data migration along with deployment
· Test and debug software applications and resolve code errors and security challenges to ensure desirable functionality
· Provide application support, including resolution of all incidents and requests in line with SLAs and proactively managing issues, whenever required
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Relevant work experience of 2- 15 years
· Bachelor Degree in Technology or related fields
· A minimum of 2 years of working experience on SAP for various applications and integrations.
· Experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML , Azure and related technologies
· Integration experience
· Understanding of web services and REST APIs and how systems can talk to each other
· Understanding of relational databases and SQL
· Knowledge of Power BI, SAP business objects
