Software Technical Lead

Technical LeadRandstad is working with a well known financial services organisation seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join the team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to major transformation programs and support the core technology teams.The hands-on Technical Lead will play an important role in building, designing and testing for the development of technology used within the technology team while supporting the broader engineering team.Key responsibilities:

• Mentor, guide, and assist a team in providing high-quality application services for critical banking applications.
• Design, implement, and maintain microservices (APIs).
• Write clear, modular, and maintainable code using contemporary JavaScript frameworks.
• Enhance end-to-end application performance and deploy responsive designs with reusable UI components.
• Design and develop user interfaces for customer-facing applications using React JS.

Mandatory skills:

• 5+ years of Financial Services experience
• Proven experience building complex web based or mobile applications.
• Strong experience in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
• Familiarity with React JS, Redux, Node JS, Spring Boot, and Restful API design principles.
• Strong Stakeholder Engagement
