As a Senior Risk Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in leading the implementation and improvement of best practice child safety standards within our organisation. Your expertise and experience will be crucial in fostering a culture of safety and support for all young Australians participating in our outdoor education programs.
Child Safety Officer
- Serve as the designated Child Safety Officer for the organisation.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practice child safe standards, health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Lead the response and investigation into child safe incidents, identifying contributing factors and making recommended actions.
- Assist in developing and delivering child safety training for team members within administration and field-based roles.
- Guide departments and teams in relation to child safety standards and health and safety matters to ensure compliance with regulatory responsibilities.
- Embed child safe national principles into the organizational culture and strategic initiatives.
Initiative/Continuous Improvement
- Take responsibility for performance, reputation, and growth.
- Partner with staff and leaders for organisational best practices.
- Enhance product delivery through feedback and reporting.
Teamwork/People
- Collaborate with colleagues for daily operations.

Risk Management

We seek a dedicated individual passionate about enhancing the safety of children on our programs. With at least two years of experience in compliance or policy roles, you've managed projects with multifaceted organisational objectives and collaborated effectively with various stakeholders. Your insight into the intricacies of child safety is profound, coupled with extensive experience in implementing the Victorian Child Safe Standards.
