The Role:
The role collaborates with the PlanSA leadership team to develop and maintain a technology roadmap, closely aligned to the PlanSA business drivers. The technology roadmap focuses on strategic implementation of new IT Solutions as well as enhancements to the existing PlanSA IT systems with clear business benefit realisation goals.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:
- Proven ability to think creatively and laterally, analyse information, identify issues and use sound judgement to solve problems and address difficult and complex issues and situations.
- Proven ability to strategically technically plan, analyse, develop, implement and lead specialised IT solutions and related customer centric projects and programs in accordance with quality and project management techniques, financial management and agreed objectives.
- Sound knowledge of software development lifecycle and IT Support and delivery methodologies (ITIL, SDLC, Agile Practices).
- Well-developed knowledge in Enterprise Architecture Methodologies and experience in application of such methodologies to implement and maintain complex IT solutions.
- Sound knowledge of modern software application platforms and services, including IT Cloud technologies.
- Proven high level experience, in providing technical leadership for technology solution development and applying extensive knowledge in several of following technologies and frameworks.
- Java, NET, SQL Server, C#, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Apps including Power BI, implementation of Application Integrations using APIs and Cloud Technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage performance indicators and drive technical improvements to deliver business benefits.
Demonstrated experience leading IT services and technical staff, in accordance with industry best practice processes and quality standards.
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain strong relationships to resolve conflict and negotiate to deliver effective and timely solutions in complex environments.

Remuneration:
ASO7 - $106,512 min - $115,137 max
