About the Role
The Solutions Architect sits within the Architecture and Design practice, part of the ICT and Digital portfolio at Fiona Stanley Hospital. This role is focused on producing and assuring multi-faceted and integrated solution designs for the Hospital, across non-clinical, clinical, and operational technology domains across operational services and project engagements.
This role also works with the Enterprise Architect to help ensure the Hospital’s technology solutions remain aligned with long-term goals and objectives associated with Serco’s delivery of FM Services to the Hospital, the South Metropolitan Health Service, and within WA Health more broadly.
This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes national police check as an essential selection component for this role. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of using the TOGAF Architecture Development Method, in support of project and operational architecture activities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of design and documentation for business solutions,
- Experience with designing information and data structures and integrations
- Experience with constructing design patterns for application solutions,
- Experience with constructing design patterns for technology solutions, including:
-public-cloud architectures and service offerings (i.e., Azure, AWS, GCP);
-private-cloud and hybrid-cloud architecture.
-SaaS/PaaS/IaaS/XaaS as part of comprehensive Solution Architectures.
-converged infrastructure and hyper-converged infrastructure hardware;
-hypervisors for optimising use of compute, RAM, storage, and networking;
-storage area networking technologies;
-software-defined local, campus, and wide area networking technologies;
-relevant cyber security architectures and frameworks (e.g., ZTA, SASE).
Previous experience working with ICT integration design experience in a health/ biomedical context is highly desirable.
