What you'll be doing
Providing high-level ultrasounds in a tertiary centre to aid in the diagnosis and management of complex pregnancies.
The Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit is a specialist multidisciplinary unit within Royal North Shore Hospital. It is a tertiary level referral centre for pregnancies with maternal or fetal complications. Sonographers work in close liaison with hospital medical officers and specialist midwives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Sonographer looking to enhance their skills in high level Obstetric care.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold either a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science in Diagnostic Radiography OR a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation Science and current AHPRA registration and EPA Licence and an appropriate recognised postgraduate diploma in Sonography or allied to the area of expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team within constraints of timeframes, whilst maintaining a high quality service.
- Willingness to participate in Quality Improvement, Service development and evaluation activities as required.
