The Medical Imaging Department as part of the exciting Logan Hospital Expansion Project is looking for Full Time/Part Time Senior Sonographers to join their team. This role will be primarily based at the brand-new Satellite Hospital opening soon at Eight Mile Plains in Brisbane’s south. The purpose of this role is to deliver high level medical imaging services; provide clinical leadership, assist with day-to-day operational management and contribute to medical imaging training / education at Logan Hospital and satellite facilities.

About the Role
- The HP4 Radiographer/Sonographer or Sonographer reports operationally to the modality Team Leader and professionally to Assistant Directors, Medical Imaging Service.
- Perform complex diagnostic examinations in Ultrasound and +/- Radiography.
- Apply high level skills and experience to the development of professional standards, policies and clinical practices.
- Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds, gender, identity, ages or abilities.
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
