- Providing routine and emergency services as ordered by the medical officers for inpatients, nursing home residents, and outpatients
- Receiving and interpreting requests from medical practitioners for imaging examinations to be performed on patients
- Determining the appropriate imaging techniques to provide the required diagnostic information for the doctor
- Explaining procedures to patients, ensuring they receive the correct preparation for the procedure, and ensuring that any concerns regarding the radiation processes are minimised
