The Tweed Hospital is seeking a Radiographer Level 3 Grade 3 to performing high quality diagnostic imaging for the purpose of clinical diagnosis using complex clinical procedures. This position requires the diagnostic radiographer to specialise in at least one modality for the purpose of providing education, leadership and clinical expertise in the noted modality.
About you:

• Current unrestricted membership with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
• Current registration with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Medical Radiation Practitioner - Diagnostic Radiographer with an appropriate recognised postgraduate diploma allied to the area of expertise as per the Award and with an EPA (Radiation User Licence)
• Demonstrated extensive experience in ultrasound with demonstrated high level competence to perform a full range of area specific complex examinations both in regular working hours and in an on call setting
• Demonstrated experience in general radiography, theatre, mobile, both in and out of hours service
• Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge of the role and operation of imaging services in a multidisciplinary hospital setting
• The applicant will be required to meet current Health Employees Medical Radiation Scientists (State) Award conditions for Level 3 Grade 3 Diagnostic Radiographer
