About the role
We are currently seeking Sonographers to work for a large national organisation based in Hobart or Launceston. We currently have permanent full-time, part-time and locum positions available.
Key responsibilities include:
- Complete advanced diagnostic ultrasound examinations within a clinic environment
- Determine appropriate imaging equipment to use and correct settings
- Provide quality patient care and communicate effectively with patients
- Provide findings of images to doctors
- Work within a close knit multi-disciplinary clinical team
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Bachelors, Graduate Diploma or Master's in Medical Sonography
- Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) Accreditation
- Current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience as a Sonographer in MSK and Vascular
- Public liability insurance
- Australian working rights (essential)
- National Police Clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
