You will be involved in the execution of the sourcing strategy and the formation and execution of commercially suitable commercial agreements to maximise the value derived from the contracts.
Our client is seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join their team.
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience across the procurement and sourcing lifecycle
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting initiatives and recommendations at an executive and board level
- Experience in developing contracts (experience in IT contracts well regarded)
- Broad commercial knowledge
- Ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and vendors
- Skilled negotiation skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Degree qualified, Procurement, Contract, Business, Finance and/or related discipline, well regarded
- MCIPS or CIPS membership, highly regarded
- Demonstrated strong understanding of risk and compliance management and its application within procurement setting
