Join the team at Gledswood Homestead & Winery as Sous chef, full-time.
You will be required to:
- Take control of your section & work closely with the team to ensure all KPI's are met
- Prepare, cook and present meals to the highest quality
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations & requirements
- Ensure the correct handling & preparation of all food items and equipment
- Support the Head Chef to ensure the team's success
- Ensure an efficient and smooth running kitchen
- Anticipate and solve issues as they arise
- Maintain a positive, open and professional approach to coworkers, management & customers at all times
Successful applicant will have:
- Passion for food and excellence
- Strong communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as within the team
- Cert III in Commercial Cookery
- Current Food Safety Supervisor certification
- Commitment to the position and the business
