You would be self-motivated and naturally a multi–tasker, wanting a long-term position in our company.
To be successful you will need- Proven experience as a Sous Chef / CDP
- Exceptional personal presentation and customer service skills
- Minimum 2yrs in a similar role in a successful restaurant / pub environment
- Required certificates relevant to job description
- Available to work a 7 day rotating roster, incl weekends and public holidays
- Must be trade qualified and hold certification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III minimum or equivalent)
- Good communication skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Creative and passionate about food and adhering to the group high standards
- A genuine passion for food and strong interest in the Hospitality
- Preparing, cooking, plating and presentation of high quality dishes
- Keeping your section and kitchen clean, organised and stocked, FIFO and up keeping stringent food standards
- Maintaining par levels
- Assisting kitchen managers in daily operations
- Mentoring junior members of the brigade
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and ensuring checklists are completed
- Adhering to food service sanitation standards at all times
